Clickable print magazine: immerse yourself in Normandy

This year, not only does April do what it wants. May has also shown itself to be extremely unfriendly and cold so far. It helps, at least the constant rain showers to escape mentally – and across ours clickable print magazine to read that we have digitized for you. In the summer edition of 2021 we will visit Normandy in north-west France.

Normandy: amazing contrasts in cuisine, landscape, painting and fashion

The rough Atlantic coast with its rugged rock cliffs, their grumpy fishing culture and the slope rustic interior reveals astonishingly new sides of itself. Did you know, for example, that the elegant Coco Chanel In Normandy of all places – more precisely, in Deauville lido – opened your first boutique outside of Paris? Or that the famous one Painter Claude Monet founded his dreamy, dappled Impressionist landscape painting on the Normandy region?

Also the French country kitchen is so very different here than we have in mind: instead of bright, playful pastel tones and gentle curves, country house kitchens in Normandy are often dark and in line with Metal and steel planned (think La Cornue!). Normandy convinces with its unpredictable opposites.
