I just tried this recipe yesterday and we loved it so much. While Ruben, Romy and I were spooning up the trifles, you kept hearing a “Mmmmmh” or “Aaaah” or “I could sit in there!”. Don’t worry, we weren’t in it, but we cleaned the glasses empty. And the recipe for it is so simple that I didn’t want to waste time putting the Vegan Trifle on my blog. The only thing you have to do to get this trifle reasonably original: stick to the selected products. Then you can do it super easy-peasy and really in between. And I’m sure: you can really convince everyone that vegan desserts can be really pornographic.
The Vegan Trifle has completely convinced us and elicited some “Aaaaahs” and “Mmmmmhs”.
For two glasses you need:
- Schlagfix cream like mascarpone, 250g
- 1/2 frozen berry mix organic
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- Biscuit Friends Vanilla, Bohlsener Mühle (approx. 10 biscuits)
- 100ml oat milk
You can of course also use other products, but then I cannot guarantee the incredible taste.
Put the berry mixture in a bowl and mix with 1-2 tbsp maple syrup.
Put the biscuits in a bowl and grind them into small crumbs with the mortar.
Pour the marcarpone cream into a bowl. Add the oat milk, 2-3 tbsp maple syrup and the vanilla and work with a whisk to a creamy mass.
Now take two glasses, first fill in half of the cream, then sprinkle half of the biscuit crumbs on top and then pour half of the berry mixture on top. Repeat the whole thing and you have a handsome and delicious trifle. Completely vegan!
This dessert is creamy, crispy, slightly sweet and fruity thanks to the berries. It really is an absolute dream and not the last time I’ve done the vegan trifle. Especially because it only takes a few minutes to prepare and nothing can go wrong.
