Regenerate or warm up in the microwave?

Eight minutes it takes on average to eat one dish in a V-ZUG appliance regenerate – longer than in the microwave. Due to the even treatment with steam, meals are regenerated warmed up more gently. For comparison: The microwave works with electromagnetic waves and thus supplies water molecules with energy or heat. In this way, dishes often become more heated unevenly and low-water components such as meat are even drier. The situation is different with liquids and soups, however: the microwave has the edge here. According to V-ZUG, such dishes are not suitable for regeneration as they take too long to warm up. V-ZUG recommends preparation here on the hob – or in the microwave.

Also for warming up Baby food regenerating V-ZUG offers an interesting opportunity: the gentle and even heating offers many advantages over the often uneven heating in the microwave and maintains more nutrients.
